One of the things we can do to foster nurturing environments is find and promote movies, books, and songs that encourage nurturance.  Georgia and I have found a movie that fits that bill.  If you have not seen My Name is Khan, you must see it.  It is the story of an Indian man with Asperger’s Syndrome who comes to the U.S. to join his brother.  It stars Shahrukh Khan.  We have since learned that he has won the Best Actor award of the Indian version the Academy Awards and has made a number of other wonderful movies.  But start with My Name is Khan. It is a touching story of love, fear, tragedy, and redemption that will make you laugh, cry, and feel good about the human race.
